The Plot

Anne is a quiet 16 year old girl, inside a competitive Jewish private school. Few people know the "real" her, since she has a sepret personality outside of school, when all her meds wear off. She also has a secret...

She is in love with her best friend, Lain. Not a crush, a real soul consuming fire of passion that she tried to drown out years ago. No amount of hot guy pictures or real guys could erase the feelings she has for lain, though she tried to forget... And she had seemed to succeed. she knew she should like guys, and taught herself to like them. Hung pictures everywhere, picked famous movies stars to idolize, forgetting the feelings, hiding them deep inside.  She was Normal...

Until one night, when she was 15,  in a mad suicidal rage with a knife in her hand ready to stab deep into her heart-and then she looked at what she was doing. Everything seemed to slow down..."Why am I so sad?.. The pills.. lack of good grades...The ADD... La-"   and she remembered her feelings, that she had locked inside because they where wrong and sinful. But, suicide is also a sin... 

That night, she told her 2 best friends what had happened... leaving out the "I almost killed myself", stating simply that she was bisexual. And, they didn't care, and Anne was happy because that's all she wanted. She never said anything about who she loved, though they asked:

Lain: "Come on, tell me! I promise I won't tell them! ^_^"                                                                                                                      Anne: "ummm..no" 

Now, nearly a year later, in her junior year of high school, she is confronted with her worst fear. Lain is planning to go to college instead of 12th grade, instead of becoming a senor and getting a diploma. And for some reason, Anne views this as her fault. So as the school year closes she looks back on everything that's happened the last 6 years of their friendship, the sad and the angry to the jokes and times they laughed so hard they peed. To the time of their almost love blooming, to now where they may part ways...or not...

For the only thing in life that is certain is the uncertainty.
